Angela Kapp is an entrepreneur, digital pioneer, multi-channel retail expert and serial traveler.

Angela is President of Kappcorp, a strategic consulting and investment company. She works with select fashion and beauty premium brands in the US and China on global expansion, often using online as the lynchpin for a multi-channel strategy. She is a senior advisor and shareholder to Baozun, the leading e-commerce service provider in China, a Board Member of the LA based fashion company, Crew Knitwear and of a Southeast Asian E-commerce Company, aCommerce. As a direct investor, she reviews early and mid-stage companies and works with several notable venture and private equity companies in the US and Asia.

For seventeen years, Angela was a senior executive at Estee Lauder Companies (NYSE; symbol: EL). At Estee Lauder Companies, Angela created and led three different multi-million dollar businesses in different retail areas - freestanding retails stores, online and on university campuses. She was a first generation Internet pioneer, creating the Clinique Web site in 1995, running the high growth ELC Online division and was hailed by Internet World as one of the "Top 25 Shapers of the Net". In addition, she developed ELC's global consumer marketing function, building their consumer databases from inception and more importantly, developing the ability to utilize and mine the data to generate actionable consumer insights and transform the business in all channels (offline and online). From 2004-2010, she was a member of the Executive Management Group for the corporation.

Prior to joining the Estee Lauder Companies, Angela was founder and president of New York Wise, a fundraising and special events firm whose blue-chip clients included Apple Computer, Merrill Lynch, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. She began her career as the Director of Development for the Martha Graham Dance Company.

Angela has been featured in a number of books on innovation & leadership, notably: Seth Godin's books, "Insubordinate-Linchpins Everywhere You Look" and "The Icarus Deception", as well as John Daly's "Advocacy: Championing Ideas and Influencing Others." She is a sought-after commentator on multi-channel retailing and global luxury consumers and is frequently called upon by press including CNN, the New York Times, China Business Daily, Wired and Women's Wear Daily. She is a Board Member emeritus of the National Retailer Foundation' shop.org and the Co-Founder of the elite industry group DIG (Digital Influencers Group).

She holds an MBA from The Wharton School. She speaks French, some Italian & Mandarin, and the 10 words necessary to get around any Asian country.
