Angela Kapp has been a globally recognized leader in retail and e-commerce for more than 25 years. She pioneered and led the e-commerce and multi-channel retail businesses for The Estee Lauder Companies, starting with the Clinique Web site in 1995, and was hailed by Internet World as one of the "Top 25 Shapers of the Net". She is a multi-company CEO and Board Director with proven track record of creating and scaling omnichannel and DTC businesses in the consumer products and hard goods industries, as well as certain technology enabled B2B products and services. She has deep experience with investment transactions as both a buyer and seller, utilizing her strong financial acumen, as well as her expertise in working with and mentoring founders and teams, particularly in family- owned enterprises. She is passionate about helping founders/family owned businesses in wellness, consumer products and B2B service businesses.

As Board Director, Angela has served on four different privately held boards, in the fashion, wellness and e-commerce technology industries, in the US as well as in Asia. She has participated in growth financings, strategic acquisitions, founder and CEO succession planning and execution, as well as Assignment for Betterment of Creditors (ABC) process. She is currently a Board Director of the digitally native cult brand Lime Crime, as well as Growers House Holdings, and a Board Member Emeritus of the National Retailer Federation's Shop.org. She has served on a number of Retail Advisory Councils, including at Google and Cognizant.
Prior to joining Estee Lauder Companies, Angela was founder and president of New York Wise, a fundraising and special events firm, whose blue-chip clients included Apple Computer, Merrill Lynch, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. She began her career as the Director of Development for the Martha Graham Dance Company.
Angela has been featured in a number of books on innovation & leadership, notably: Seth Godin's books, Insubordinate - "Linchpins Everywhere You Look" and The Icarus Deception, as well as John Daly's Advocacy: Championing Ideas and Influencing Others.
